About this tool
Image Converter changes one raster (or supported) format into another — for example PNG to JPG, WEBP to PNG, or HEIC to JPEG — without uploading to a cloud service. Opaque formats like JPEG fill transparent areas with a background color you choose.

How to use it
- Load the source file.
- Choose the output format (JPEG, PNG, WEBP, and other options listed in the tool).
- If converting to JPEG (or another opaque format), pick a background color for transparent areas.
- Download the converted file and verify it opens in your target app.
Common problems and tips
- PNG to JPG looks wrong on transparent edges. JPEG has no transparency. Pick a background color (often white) before converting, or keep PNG/WEBP if you need an alpha channel.
- Animated GIF becomes a single frame. This converter works on a still frame via canvas. Use a dedicated GIF tool if you need to preserve animation.
- SVG export looks like an embedded bitmap. Vector “SVG” output from a photo is a wrapped raster, not a true path trace. Use Vector Tracer when you need cut‑ready paths.
