Free Image Resizer

Resize images by exact pixels, percentage, or aspect ratio in your browser. Free online image resizer — no upload to our servers.

About this tool

Image Resizer changes an image’s pixel dimensions by exact width/height, percentage, or while locking aspect ratio. Use it when you need web‑ready sizes, print dimensions, or smaller assets without installing desktop software. Optional filters and sharpening help after downscaling.

Best for: Single photos or graphics that need a specific pixel size for blogs, product pages, email, or social uploads.

How to use it

  1. Choose an image from your device (PNG, JPEG, WEBP, and other browser‑supported formats).
  2. Set width, height, or percentage. Keep aspect ratio locked unless you intentionally need a stretch or crop.
  3. Optionally apply sharpening or filters, then preview the result.
  4. Download as PNG, JPEG, or WEBP depending on whether you need transparency or smaller photo files.

Common problems and tips

  • The resized image looks soft or blurry. Upscaling cannot invent detail. Prefer resizing down from a larger source, or start from a higher‑resolution original.
  • HEIC from an iPhone will not open. Some browsers lack HEIC decoding. Convert to JPEG/PNG on your phone or computer first, or try Chrome/Edge on desktop.
  • The page freezes on a huge photo. Close other tabs, try a smaller source, or crop first. Extremely large canvases are limited by your device RAM.
