AI Image Upscaler
Upscale photos up to 10× with on-device AI for sharper details and less blur. Free image upscaler that runs in your browser.
About this tool
Image Upscaler enlarges photos with on‑device AI (ESRGAN) so details stay sharper than a plain stretch. Choose 2×–10×, preview before and after, then download PNG, JPEG, or WEBP — without uploading your file to our servers.
Best for: Small or compressed photos you want larger for print, product pages, or social crops while keeping edges crisper than bicubic resize alone.
How to use it
- Upload a photo or graphic from your device.
- Pick an upscale factor (2× through 10×). Higher factors take longer and need more memory.
- Tap Upscale and wait for the AI model to finish (first run may download the model).
- Compare the preview, then download in PNG, JPEG, or WEBP.
Common problems and tips
- Upscaling is slow or the tab freezes. Use 2× or 4× first, or start from a smaller source. Cancel and retry on a device with more RAM if needed.
- The tool says the result is too large. Lower the scale factor or crop/resize the source first. Output edges above about 4096px are blocked to protect browser memory.
- Faces or text still look soft at 10×. AI cannot invent perfect detail from a tiny source. Try a lower factor from a sharper original, or combine with Image Resizer for exact final dimensions.
